Standard tests for visual acuity depend on verbal responses from the test subject. Teller Acuity Cards offer an easy method for screening any non-verbal patient including adults but especially infants and children. Vision testing is crucial to a child’s healthy growth and development and requires a different testing approach. Teller Acuity Cards® II can test for pediatric visual acuity without requiring a verbal response by recording an infant’s eye preference or behavior to a series of cards showing stripes of different widths also known as ‘gratings.’
