Product Description

Light Meter for Contrast Sensitivity Testing used to insure the proper lighting for MARS tests and Pelli Robson Contrast Tests. This light meter is different than most photographic light meters in that it measures the light illuminating the test charts NOT the light reflected by the test chart. In other words, the meter is pointed at the source of light (illumination), not the test chart,  for maximum accuracy. This technique is the procedure recommended by the Contrast chart developers and insures adequate lighting while avoiding excessive illumination.

The Light Meter for Contrast Testing includes a low battery indicator helps insure proper replacement of the readily available 9 volt battery. Zippered case is also included.
